Elizabeth Tyson is a certified nurse midwife at Reply Ob/Gyn & Fertility.
Ms. Tyson originally hails from Chicago, and relocated to Cary, North Carolina, in 2016. She received her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery and Master of Public Health in Maternal Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ms. Tyson previously served as a research assistant focused on improving the early growth and development of premature infants, and worked as a registered nurse for Swedish Covenant hospital in Chicago, Illinois, in antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Prior to joining Reply, she worked for more than three years as a certified nurse midwife for free-standing birth centers and A Plus Family Care in Raleigh.
Ms. Tyson has focused her career on the well-being of women and families across the lifespan, and she has a particular interest in reducing disparities in low birth weight and preterm delivery. Her passion is helping women navigate the healthcare landscape and ensuring that each patient feels valued, respected, and heard. She is also a cross-fit devotee and the proud mother of a very active young son!
